Sprouted Toast

OPEN FACED TOAST

Classic open faced toast, sprouted bread style!

  • 2 Slices of sprouted bread (my favorite is sesame ezekiel)

  • 1-2 Tbls of peanut/almond butter

  • 1 sliced banana/ apple/ pear whatever fruit you have!!

  • 1-2 Tbls of chia seeds

This is a good pre-workout morning snack. I am always really hungry when I wake up, but I also don’t perform well on a full stomach. So the combination of protein with complex carbohydrates (plus the crunchiness) leaves me happy but not feeling heavy and ready for a long workout.
